This story began when Herman and Charlene met on a blind date while they were both working for the State Government. They found that their personalities were opposite in almost every way except for their love and their creativity! So they put their minds together and started exploring where their combined talents could lead them. The folk art business was a natural avenue and this cohesive partnership was born! The design stage of each project is a joint effort. Then Herman does the prep work and wood carving and Charlene does the painting and final details!
